WHY: Find out how to get a free yard sign for your neighborhood. Last year, more than 150 pedestrians were struck by vehicles in the area. Such injuries can be avoided. Reminding walkers and drivers to stay alert is one way to encourage safe driving.
LCH has implemented this campaign five out of the last six years. Five thousand yard signs are expected to be distributed in the next two months.
